In USC you have to complete 27 credit for MS-CS General to get an MS Degree.
These total credits change with the specialization and course.
27 * $1331 = $ 34,000 This is the tution fees for 3 semesters. Each semester 9 creits i.e 3 courses.
Part-Time Job :
- I did part time job for 20 hours programming a week. It is possible to do it with your studies.
- Income any where from ($8-$20)*30/7*20 = ($685 - $1,714 )/ month
you have to remove tax — ($600 - $1,500 )/ month
So you can pretty well manage the living expense with this. All this is provided you come to USC
well in advance. You should make it a point that you come to USC at least 40 days before the college
starts. This would help you get a part time job for sure and you would also not miss selecting courses.
This cost of education is not high when you start earning. You can save the save the amount you invest in your education in one year of full time job. If you get internship you can cover last semester fees on your own.
